Kru’El’s abilities apply pestilence to his opponents. Pestilence deals a percentage of that unit’s health as magical damage over time. If that unit dies while afflicted with pestilence, it will explode damaging nearby enemies for a small amount.

With his last breath, Kru’El will apply pestilence to himself on death, exploding after a short delay.
